In March/April we will focus on the Fundamentals of Figure Drawing! We will cover some basic anatomy to understand proportions, proper measurements, and techniques to accurately capture the human figure. You will learn how to quickly capture the pose of the figure and sketch both a gesture drawing as well as longer pose drawings and rendering of light and shadow.

Have you been painting for years, but some areas just never seem to improve? Do you keep making the same mistakes? Are you stuck at a certain level of creating work? Do you feel like there are gaps in your artistic education? This is the class for you! You may sign up for each month separately or multiple months!
We will break down the fundamental skills, and then build and strengthen your proficiency in those skills so that you can take your work to the next level. Come study with Robin in a weekly class format where she will cover a variety of topics about painting and drawing. This will help you boost your skills so that you can approach your easel confidently and with excitement.
Each week, Robin will focus on a particular topic and provide lectures and demonstrations. Students will then have in-class assignments to reinforce the new skills. The skills will be related to drawing and painting the head and figure, but not limited to this. Students can also bring in their own work for Robin’s feedback and critique. Examples of some of the focus topics are:
